THE READ DEVILS Reading Club
Turn pages into experiences. Join a circle that actually reads.
Why Join?
- Have you ever highlighted a beautiful line in a book and wished you had someone who'd get why it made you pause?
- Do you find yourself buying books with the best intentions, only to watch them gather dust while you feel quietly guilty?
- Ever wanted to talk about that film that moved you, but worried you'd sound too intense for casual conversation?
- Are you looking for people who believe a single page read is better than a whole book left unopened?
What You’ll Do
How It Works
- Request an invite (limited seats; we keep cohorts small).
- Pick a reading pledge—start with 20 pages per week or set your own goal.
- Join check‑ins; share one insight that stayed with you.
- Join city meetups in Bengaluru when you can.
FAQs
Who can join?
Anyone who is curious. If you’ve ever underlined a sentence because it made you pause, you’ll fit right in.
Is there a fee?
Membership is free. In‑person meetups are usually pay‑your‑own‑way. Occasionally, we’ll contribute for venues or screenings.
Online or in person?
Both. We have regular online check‑ins, and city chapters meet when schedules (and weather) allow.
Why invite‑only?
Small, consistent cohorts work better than large, inactive groups. Invite‑only helps maintain focus and tone.
How much time does this require?
Very manageable! Start with 20 pages per week (about 3 pages per day), join our 1-hour weekly check-ins, and attend monthly activities when you can. You set your own pace.
Do I need to be a heavy reader?
No. If 20 pages feels ambitious, we'll help you ease in. Progress over perfection.
Where are you based?
Bengaluru. Most of our in‑person magic happens here—coffee, museums, and book swaps. Online cohorts run in parallel.
Can I join if I’m not in Bengaluru?
Yes. You’ll join an online cohort for check‑ins and discussions. Visiting Bengaluru? Pull up a chair at a meetup.
Request Invite
We review invite requests periodically. If selected, you’ll hear back within 1–2 weeks.
We prioritize Bengaluru readers for in‑person cohorts. Not in town? Join an online cohort—and drop by when you’re here.
